SIO Ph.D. Candidate

Charlotte Beall is a 5th year Ph.D. student at SIO with the Center for Aerosol Impacts on the Chemistry of the Environment. Her research aims to identify drivers of biologically-enhanced marine ice nucleating particle (INP) emissions and contribute to INP observations in under-sampled regions. In collaboration with Dr. Susannah Burrows (Pacific Northwest National Laboratory) and Dr. Erika Roesler (Sandia National Laboraties) she is also using cloud and aerosol observations to evaluate INP parameterization performance in a regionally refined configuration of E3SM in the Arctic.
